Today I bring a short update to say that the website will remain under maintenance for a few days as I am working on new shipping methods, shipping zones etc. It is not something I do it out of free will, but something I must do due changes in the postal service.
Our national post services has done a change of regulations starting on January 1st 2026 which now forbids the shipping of goods under the category of “certified letter” allowing only documents (paper) to be shipped in such way. All the orders will now be shipped as “package” using the most adequate service for the type of products I sell (with more ranges of weight) but still maintaining a priority aspect to it, thus packages should be delivered faster.
Because now all the orders (at the exception of livery decals, once I sell them) will be shipped as “package” a new setup has to be done at the shop to calculate volumetric weights which was not required for “certified letter” packages.
This will take me some time as I need to re organise the shipping zones, adequate the shipping to the new size of shipping boxes and make sure the volumetric weight calculation works as it should.
I do not know who is the person or people who have these brilliant ideas to change things and give headaches to people like me when we should spend time with our loved ones or at least, enjoy time for small holidays.
All the orders that have not been shipped yet will be shipped as soon as possible with the new shipping method for which I will assume the differential cost.
