Hello everyone,
As you are probably aware, some parts of the world are now going through a tough time with a wave of hot temperatures, this is the case in Spain where so far, more than 1500 people have died because of the heat (42% more than last year) and a total of 37 forest fires have ocurred while some others are still active. As much as I want to release things, restock some others and keep moving forward with the rest of the projects, I am obligated to slow down a bit, not only for my own self but also because working with some materials at 32ºC+/ 90F+ it’s just looking for trouble, and it’s not just about the temperature, the humidity is in most cases, the decisive factor. We went through a week, a few weeks back, where we were in the high 20º’s but the humidity was rather low and that allowed me to actually proceed with the making of several molds.
People ask me when this will be ready, when can I make that… At times one has barely enough energy to wake up from bed because of a bad sleep, which is what we get from the heatwaves which we seem to have one after another. My work requires a lot of focus and at this moment I am very much dependable of the weather because I find myself making molds for the new items and later the corresponding resin casts (which is crucial with these hot temperatures) and while I can still do well with the 3D printers, the post process takes just a bit more energies from me, but I can still manage. I am trying my best to proceed with everything as quick, best, and efficiently as I can, the plan still stands the same; release all the new products, continue with the final molds for the 787 and once its production is started, I will resume the work on the 747.
For this reason, I decided to share a table which I will be updating as I progress (this post will be fixed), so that you can have a reference on how things are going so far.
For the most part, in the section “Units made” it will not be updated until I finish selecting the best packaging for the mentioned item, because after producing it, I need to storage it. Since they all have different sizes (three different scales) sometimes package types are interchangeable between scales/items while some others can fit in a plastic bag with the designated protective material. Once I have the packaging sorted out (which I am currently doing at this very same moment), you will start to see the units number will be increasing each day.

- The ladders in all the 3 scales have been completed.
- Currently preparing the units for the barrier set, the 1/72 version is the one remaining to make.
- Due the new change in the resin formula (manufacturer dropped V1 and released V2) I had to do some adjustments to the dollies for a more precise fitting.
- Dollies and cargo loaders have been started to be produced, later the TLD ABS1740 stairs truck will start production.
- A new version of the chocks in 1/144 scale (with the 3D printed cord) has been developed and printed.
- The FMC15i (1/144) and D10 dolly (1/72) videos have been edited, I am holding to upload them once I complete the other support removal guides (1/200 stairs struck/cargo loader).
- I will soon start redesigning the product thumbnails for the webshop as well as a new menu.
- As I am approaching to the 70% of the completion of the stock for the new items, I am starting to focus on the next steps for the B787 which will be resumed soon.
- Once the stock for the new items (And some of the “old” ones) is released, I plan to resume designing livery decals, (I have my own designed silk screen detail sets for the A350-900/1000 and the A320/21 family (CEO/NEO for which liveries will be laser printed). I am still aspiring to be able to do silk screen liveries in the future, but there are steps needed to do first.

- 1/200 and 1/144 three step ladder units have been completed.
- After the new modification on the FMC15i for an improved printing, a new example model has started, currently at 35% completed.
- This following week, all the videos will be finally uploaded on Youtube, the latest figure set as well as the TLD ABS1740 stairs truck / FMC15i parts in 1/144 and 1/200.
- A look into resuming shipping to the US has been done, I must admit it’s not looking good, but I will try to ship again to the US in the future, at the moment this will be a big problem for me that I need to resolve.
